The anticipated day for the implementation of the Inland Revenue's simplification rules has today been confirmed as April 2006 - a year later than previously suggested.
Chancellor Gordon Brown's announcement will come as a relief for both IFAs and the industry, who all feared April 2005 would be coined as A-day. This would only have given them a year to conform to all the changes. IFAonline
