Daniel Blass has been appointed head of client services at Mercer's investment management business to support the growth of the firm's investment arm.
The global provider of consulting, outsourcing and investment services has seen a steady increase in clients and assets under management in 2008, it says.
Prior to joining Mercer, Blass worked for Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM). He was a relationship manager for seven years, looking after DB and DC clients pursuing active and passive strategies.
Blass was also involved with the business development team and built relationships with UK investment consultants to promote LGIM’s business. He has an honours degree in business and is IMC qualified.
Mercer’s investment services include investment consulting and multi-manager investment management.IFAonline
