Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Guy Skinner as investment director of government bonds.
He joins from 18 years at Morley Fund Management where he most recently worked as an investment manager. Skinner previously managed bond portfolios on a single currency, global aggregate and absolute return basis. In his new post, he reports to Graeme Caughey, head of government bonds at SWIP. Last September SWIP appointed Luke Hickmore as investment director of corporate bonds. Skinner brings the team's head count to 30.
