Norwich Union is rebranding its retail investment funds to carry the life insurance brand because feedback indicates consumers are more likely to recognise the name.
Seven of the Morley retail funds – the Morley UK focus and six Morley Sustainable Futures funds - are being rebranded with the Norwich Union name to make them more recognisable to consumers, says John Clougherty, director of collective investments at NU. Changes have been made as feedback from IFAs suggests they find it difficult to promote the Morley brand to consumers – a name which is traditionally recognisable with institutional rather than retail investors – compared with the NU brand.
