Gartmore distribution head Paul Feeney has decided to leave the company.
Feeney had been weighing up a number of alternative senior roles at Gartmore following Phil Wagstaff’s appointment as global distribution head, but has turned them down.
Joining Gartmore in 2002, Feeney was initially responsible for the UK retail business and subsequently all retail business before runing the firm’s entire distribution division eighteen months ago.
Feeney says it “has been a privilege" to work at the company.
"Gartmore is a great company with a great future,” he says. “I feel proud to have played a part in securing that future.”
Gartmore group CEO and president Jeffrey Meyer says Feeney has been an important member of the executive team.
“He played a significant role in the MBO, endeavouring to find the best partner for Gartmore and importantly its clients,” he says.
“Speaking on behalf of all Gartmore’s employees, I’d like to thank Paul for his relentless efforts and commitment to Gartmore and wish him well for his future".
