Norwich Union has appointed Toby Strauss as managing director of its Lifetime wrap.
Strauss moves to Lifetime from senior executive positions at John Scott & Partners, Towry Law and Charcol.
Norwich Union Life chief executive Mark Hodges says Strauss’ appointment underlines NU’s commitment to developing its wrap.
“I believe that the world is moving towards ‘cleaner’ products, such as those envisaged within the recent FSA consultation paper on Customer Agreed Remuneration,” he says.
“Lifetime’s experience and expertise in this area will help Norwich Union in the transition to these kinds of products as well as being pivotal to our plans to support advisers in making the same shift.”
Strauss adds: "Developing Lifetime to its full potential presents an exciting opportunity for me. The immediate focus for both me and my team will be to map out and put in place the building blocks to ensure that Lifetime is well placed to capitalise on the opportunities in the market."
