The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) has announced a new chief executive will take over following the annual general meeting in July.
Vince Linnane, the current head of product management at the PMI, will take up his new post on 13 July, having worked at the Institute for more than 20 years including the post of head of communications and events.
The PMI says Linnane has worked closely with Roger Booth, the current chief executive, to introduce and manage a programme of change for the Institute which has advanced more quickly than was originally thought possible. As a result Booth, who planned to stand down once the change process was substantially complete, will be leaving next month.
Penny Green, president of the PMI, says she is pleased the PMI has been able to reflect the significant contribution Linnane has made to the success of the PMI by making this appointment.
She adds: “At the same time I would like to thank Roger for accomplishing such an effective change programme which has given us a solid base upon which we can build for the future. I would like to wish him the very best and say how much we all now look forward to working on projects with Vince.”
