The FSA has relaunched its consumer website in the wake of tighter economic conditions in the UK.
The site, Moneymadeclear, offers free information for consumers concerned about the credit crunch, including the regulator’s own product comparison tables.
The FSA says the site provides information on a range of subjects including mortgages, loans and credit cards as well as interactive tools to help work out how much borrowing will cost at different interest rates and a budget calculator to help manage your budget.
There are also printed guides covering ‘what to do if you can't pay your mortgage’, as well as its recent ‘making your budget work for you’ guide.
Guides and information are also available from the FSA consumer helpline on 0845 606 1234 – Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
