Barings Asset Management has appointed former Credit Suisse AM fixed income managing director and COO Harjeet Heer as its global aggregate business head.
Heer spent over 20 years at Credit Suisse Asset Management, with stints as global fixed income product head, fixed income asset allocation team head and as a member of the global interest rate and global currency groups.
“We are delighted to welcome Harjeet to the team and are confident that his extensive investment experience in fixed income will play a valuable role in continuing to provide innovative solutions for our clients and developing the global aggregate business,” Barings fixed income and currency head Alan Wilde says.
“Barings was one of the first global managers to run a 130/30 fixed income product and we look forward to building on our strong track record in the global fixed income arena.”IFAonline
