Health cash plan provider HSA Group has this morning announced plans to merge with Manchester-based HealthSure.
Following a Healthsure EGM in Manchester yesterday, the cash plan firm said merger of the firms will now go ahead but Healthsure will maintain its own brand and offices in Manchester and no jobs will be lost at the group.
Under the new deal, HealthSure’s chief executive Richard Sear will be responsible for managing LHF Healthplan, HSA’s northern regional cash plan business based in Leeds as Jamie Wilson, previously managing director of LHF, has recently moved to manage HSA’s broker PMI business BCWA.
This is the second acquisition for HAS this year having also bought Bristol-based BCWA.IFAonline
