Amex adds to its wrap platform

American Express has launched an investment account for trusts on to its wrap platform serving IFAs.

In November the firm added funds from Insight Investments to its platform, which it launched in March 2004. The newest addition enables onshore trusts to be administered by IFAs, while their range of services to individual clients is also available to their trust clients. Jamsheed Poncha, head of Adviser Services at American Express Financial Services Europe says: "The addition of accounts for trusts is another sign of our ongoing commitment to enhance our wrap platform by offering a broader set of solutions to financial advisers and their clients."
