Mortgage Trust has introduced an email offer facility which is designed to improve the speed at which the mortgage fulfilment process takes place.
Offers will now be distributed via email, rather than the traditional method of postal delivery, which aims to enable intermediaries to offer an improved service to their clients.
Paul Clampin, head of new lending at Mortgage Trust, states: “Following the successful completion of a successful trial, we are delighted to be able to introduce our email offer facility to all of our broker contacts.”
He says the lender has worked closely with its intermediary clients in facilitating the service and recognises the increasingly important role digital processing will play in the mortgage sector.
Providing offers via email will not only avoid the delays often associated with postal distribution, but will also enhance cost efficiency, says Clampin.
He adds: “The prospect of further technological development is an exciting one, and we intend to continually review our processes in order to provide the best possible system for out brokers.”
