Mortgage Express cuts lifetime mortgage rates

Mortgage Express has re-priced its Lifetime Mortgage and Lifetime Mortgage Extra products.

The lender says it has reduced rates on its lifetime mortgage to 6.29% for the lifetime of the loan. The product features a fee of £599 and can lend up to 45% LTV. Lifetime Mortgage Extra now offers a rate of 6.55%, with a £599 fee and can lend up to 55% LTV. Mortgage Express says its products are available for those aged 60 and upwards and the rate is fixed for the lifetime of the loan, no matter how long they live.
