Legal & General Mortgage Club has partnered with Connect Mortgage Group to provide its directly authorised members with outsourced support services.
The service allows brokers to spend less time on administration and more time with their clients, according to L&G.
Directly authorised brokers can opt to have their cases handled by Connect and they will "proactively chase applications" and aim to process fully within 15 days.
Connect also tracks cases and keeps brokers and their clients updated on case progress via text message and e-mail.
The service can help brokers improve their client relations and ensure their customers receive mortgage offers more quickly, Connect says. Brokers will also free-up time by not chasing cases themselves, allowing them to spend more time actively seeking business, according to L&G.
Ben Thompson, director of mortgages at L&G, says: “Our new service saves brokers having to pull together all the administration needed to submit an application to a lender. This means they can spend more time on what they do best, which is advising and selling.”
DAs will be given the option to complete their own admin or to pass it on to Connect for an additional fee.
