Aegon has changed its annuities processes to allow IFAs to find instant online quotes from the Exchange or the Aegon website.
The provider has also expanded its quotes system to let advisers quote for more options, including defined benefits. Aegon will provide links to further portals over the coming weeks. Aegon has added a form to its annuities quotes to make them shorter and easier to understand. The ‘alternative options sheet’ provides details of the quote the adviser has asked for and details of some regularly requested options and the resultant affect on the annuity payment.
