The Investment Management Association has announced Robert Jenkins, chairman of F&C Asset Management, will be its new chairman from May 2007.
Jenkins will become chairman of the IMA for a period of two years, subject to ratification by members. He is the non-executive chairman of F&C Asset Management and previously served as chief executive of F&C Management for seven years before its merger with ISIS Asset Management in October 2004. Prior to joining F&C, Jenkins spent 16 years with Citibank and five years at Credit Suisse.
