Nationwide has today announced a number of changes to its fixed rate and tracker mortgages.
The changes will come into effect from 2 October, with previous deals available up until the end of 1 October.
Among the Home Mover range, mortgages for people buying a new property, two-year fixed rates range from 5.72%, with a £999 fee, to 6.25% for the fee-free product.
Three-year, five-year deals will be priced at 5.85%, with fees of £499 and £599 respectively, and the ten-year fixed product is now 5.78% with a £499 fee. Two-year tracker deals will be priced between 5.48% and 6.08%.
For customers requiring remortgage and additional borrowing products, two-year fixed rates will be priced between 5.88% and 6.48%. Three-year deals with a £499 fee are to be priced at 6.08%, while five-year and ten-year deals are now 5.98%.
A two-year tracker with a £599 fee are 5.83%, while the same product with no fees is 6.23%.
Nationwide says ‘switchers’, current Nationwide borrowers switching to another Nationwide product, can benefit from a five-year fixed rate with no reservation fee from 5.98%.
