Nationwide makes changes to fixed rates and trackers

Nationwide has today announced a number of changes to its fixed rate and tracker mortgages.

The changes will come into effect from 2 October, with previous deals available up until the end of 1 October. Among the Home Mover range, mortgages for people buying a new property, two-year fixed rates range from 5.72%, with a £999 fee, to 6.25% for the fee-free product. Three-year, five-year deals will be priced at 5.85%, with fees of £499 and £599 respectively, and the ten-year fixed product is now 5.78% with a £499 fee.
