Just Retirement is suspending upfront fees on its equity release mortgage range until the end of 2008.
The firm says the removal of fees will save the average customer around £700, and make equity release more accessible.
The fee-free offer is available from today on all equity release mortgage products, including drawdown.
David Cooper, marketing director at Just Retirement, says: “We know consumers are feeling the pinch enough at present, so we hope this gesture will help those looking to reduce outgoings and boost income in retirement.”
The offer removes all setup and valuation fees and will be available until 31 December 2008.
