IFA market manager at protection specialists progress from Royal Liver, Andy Milburn, has announced he is set to leave the firm in April.
After five years at progress, Milburn says he is also set to leave the insurance industry but has yet to reveal his new post.
"After five years at Royal Liver I’m off to pastures new – I leave the Group in mid April," he says.
"There are some brilliant people at Royal Liver, and I’ve enjoyed my time here enormously."
Milburn has been instrumental in the marketing success of Royal Liver's e-only protection service - the UK's first paperless provider of life cover and disability products.
He has contributed a number of blogs to IFAonline over the years, but in his last for the site he has a final message for the industry.
"So thanks for reading my stuff if you did, and until we meet again…go and book a summer holiday…they stop you getting coughs and colds…make your Doctors less busy in the winter.. and it all helps underwriters too!"
