Fidelity International has announced Ilario Di Bon will join the firm in May to head up global equities.
Di Bon moves from UBS Global Asset Management, where he was lead portfolio manager on a number of global equity portfolios.
Reporting to CIO Nicky Richards in the newly created role, Di Bon will lead the Fidelity's global equity investment division – which includes the sector, US and global emerging market equity teams.
He will also be responsible for further development of Fidelity’s institutional global equity range.
“I am delighted that we have recruited Ilario,” Richards says. “His skills both in research and as a portfolio manager make him ideally suited to take on the responsibility for leading the development of our global equity investment capabilities for clients in Europe and Asia.”
