Online funds supermarket Fundsdirect, which provides the Ascentric wrap to financial advisers, has appointed David Hudd as operations director.
Hudd has previously held senior positions at Natwest and the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Hugo Thorman, chief executive of Fundsdirect and Ascentric, says: “David’s appointment reflects the tremendous growth we as a business have been enjoying and the importance of making sure our systems and platform meet the highest delivery standards.” In October, Royal London made a strategic investment in Fundsdirect and the Ascentric wrap which has aided its expansion.
