Fidelity's Hall poached by AXA IM

AXA Investment Managers has poached co-head of fixed income and chief investment officer at Fidelity International, Martin Hall.

Hall is due to join AXA in June where he will head up the firm’s UK business. Hall was previously head of institutional sales and marketing at Morley Fund Management and chief investment officer for fixed income at Norwich Union Investment Management. He has also worked at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management and as an economist at the Bank of England. Hall was largely responsible for the growth of Fidelity’s fixed income business in his five years at the firm.
