John Reid is currently at No.10 Downing Street as the Prime Minister decides who will replace the David Blunkett.
The Defence Secretary is one of the MPs who is believed to be in line for the job of Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. It is as yet unclear whether the Prime Minister will simply replace Mr Blunkett or opt for a wider Cabinet re-shuffle. Other possible candidates for the job include Charles Clarke and David Milliband. Reid arrived at No. 10 an hour ago but has not been seen since.
