A series of with-profits roadshows designed to help answer adviser queries posed by the FSA's with-profits sector briefing issued in July last year has kicked off across the UK.
The two-hour presentations, organised and hosted by AEGON Scottish Equitable and O&M Systems, take delegates through key with-profits issues, starting with a summary FSA briefing document.
In addition, there are practical sessions of reviewing with-profits pensions and bonds, before finishing with O&Ms With-Profits Action Plan.
There are 38 events in total at venues including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Oxford, London and Manchester up until 21 February.
Graham Miller, director at O&M Systems, says: “The FSA briefing on with-profits posed some key questions to senior managers of IFA firms and their advisers.
“The second half of 2007 was dominated by the Retail Distribution Review and we have seen very little in the way of treating customers fairly activity relating to with-profits.
“We are delighted to be able to team up with AEGON Scottish Equitable to present this initiative to the industry.”
These events are free to attend and delegates can register to attend by clicking here.
