FundsNetwork has joined forces with adviser support group, Tenet, to form a custom-built Isa campaign.
Based on research by Funds-Network that stated four out of five advisers are expecting an increase in Isa sales in 2006, the campaign is a fully marketed package geared to help advisers capitalise on the renewed demand in Isas and write business in a more efficient way. The joint package includes pre-approved letters, client mailing brochures and re-registration sales assistance.
Rob Fisher, head of marketing at FundsNetwork, said: &With the 2006 Isa season set for a strong revival, this deal with Tenet offers its advisers, many of which use our platform, a good way to increase their business, while keeping time and paperwork issues down to a minimum so as not to overstretch their respective businesses.&
Advisers using the service will be able to access all of FundsNetwork's analysis tools, including Portfolio Planner and Fund Finder. FundsNetwork has recently improved its Fund Finder tool to incorporate life fund information on the platform's Investment Bond range.
The addition - conducted with technology specialists Morningstar and Endeca - means all users of the tool can now employ all the information on life funds available on the Investment Bond, accessible via the tax wrapper filter.
Other upgrades include more detailed fund information on the platform, such as the annual management and switching charges of funds, as well as renewed commission rates and whether the fund is available for re-registration on the platform. There will also be a new filter option allowing advisers to look specifically for both ethical and index funds.
Fisher said: &These updates are part and parcel of the constant changes to the tools market. It is all about offering different options to different advisers. For example, the ethical and index options have been provided to offer those advisers and clients who prefer to use them with a good alternative that is relevant to their business.&
The most popular ethical fund on the platform is currently the F&C Stewardship Income fund, whereas the Fidelity FIF Moneybuilder UK fund is the top Index choice.
