Friends Provident International (FPI) has teamed up with Selestia to enable advisers to use the groups fund platform through the FPI Reserve Portfolio bond.
Selestia's fund platform has over 700 funds from 57 fund managers. Investors in the Reserve Portfolio bond can create a portfolio of funds using any of the funds on the platform. Peter Dodds, head of marketing at FPI said: "We talked to a number of platforms and the relationship we have with Selestia is very transportable. We chose them primarily because we already had a working relationship with them and we know lots of people within the group."
Reserve, which is written out of the Isle of Man, is a single premium international bond designed for investors looking for wider asset choice.
The bond is available in two forms: Personalised Assets, investing into fully personalised assets, and Collective Instruments, which restricts links to collective instruments and cash only. Both types are available in Whole of Life or Capital Redemption versions.
