L&G/Cofunds pilot launched to industry

The pilot of Legal & General and Cofunds' intermediary investment bond has launched with a number of advisers. It will open to the entire market via the Cofunds platform once testing is complete. Featuring over 200 funds from 40 providers, as well as six products from L&G, the bond is a scaled up version of the tied offering launched for L&G partner Bradford & Bingley in the summer. Among the providers on the platform are Aegon, Barings, Cazenove, First State, Merrill Lynch and Jupiter.
