threesixty is offering its clients improved commission rates from protection providers over term assurance, critical illness and mortgage protection plans.
The panel, which is free of charge to the group's clients, includes products offered by L&G, Friends Provident, Scottish Provident, Scottish Equitable Protect, Standard Life and Scottish Widows.
David Ingram, a partner at threesixty said: "We researched the whole market in terms of both paper and electronic solutions to come up with the panel.
"Some of the factors that came into consideration included service and the proportion of client cases accepted at an ordinary rate. Uptake over the first two weeks has already exceeded our expectations with 70 advisory firms agreeing to join."
Reviewed quarterly, the panel will ensure adviser objectivity on the platform by filtering providers through a whole-of-market assessment.
Provider premiums, service level agreements and complaints are all tested against their benchmark and those who fall short will be replaced on the panel.
Ingram added: "Say five new players come in with competitive rates, some groups residing on the panel are bound to suffer.
"We will also be building up a claims experience database to find out if any of these providers are not performing as we would like."
A free quote system for the panel is available via Assureweb, training for which is also provided free of charge.
