Gartmore sales head

Gartmore has appointed Edwin Doeg as head of UK retail sales, following the decision by Simon Goodge to join UBS Asset Management. Doeg joined Gartmore in 1987 following the acquisition of the Oppenheimer unit trust business. He was appointed as sales director in 1994 and formed the bancassurance business unit in 2000. Doeg will now be responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the UK retail business unit.
