A deal has been struck to sell 'P' class shares in First State's Global Opportunities and Global Emerging Markets funds through a range of AIG Life bonds. This is the second such deal with between a life company and First State involving the latter's fee structure that involves aligning management fees to performance. The fee structure means that management fees are reduced to zero if the fund drops to fourth quartile performance over a 12-month rolling period.
