Rothschild Asset Management has announced that fund of funds manager Bambos Hambi and Marcus Brookes will run the Five Arrows £1bn multi-manager fund range.
The appointment follows news that the current managers, Gary Potter, Robert Burdett and Kelly Prior are to leave at the end of June to join Credit Suisse Asset Management.
Hambi and his assistant Marcus Brookes join from Friends Ivory & Sime.
David Kiddie, chief investment officer at Rothschild said: "We have recruited a highly experienced team, which is rated by S&P Fund Research. In assessing our recruitment options, we were looking for a team with strong investment discipline. We were particularly impressed by their investment philosophy, process and implementation. We believe this will enhance the existing Five Arrows product proposition. We are currently in the process of expanding the team to five people by recruiting further analytical support."
