The London Regional Venture Capital Fund, a vehicle designed to provide development capital for fledgling London businesses, launched last week. Managed by London Fund Managers, the fund has raised £50m to invest in businesses in the London boroughs and the City of London.
The fund is the largest of nine UK regional venture capital funds and is designed to invest in venture capital situations through equity purchases or through zero preference shares, loans and options.
The vehicle is seeking around 200 investments, according to London Fund Managers managing director Geoff Sankey
