Bristol & West is launching a new range of fixed rate savings accounts this week which offer investment terms sprad from six months to three years.
Accounts offer a choice of annual interest or monthly income, and most feature a two-year interest rate guarantee following maturity.
Britol & West said highlights of the range include its Easylife 3 Year at 5.25% giving a 5.13% monthly income. The Easylife Escalator is a 3 year escalator bond which rises to 6.50% in year three or a 6.31% monthly income with an average rate over 3 years of 5.33%.
Harry Partington, Head of Marketing at Bristol & West, said: "Savers who rely on their savings to supplement their income are particularly vulnerable to low interest rates. Fixed rate accounts can help to overcome the uncertainty income seekers may feel about variable rate accounts."
"Despite low interest rates generally fixed rates are beginning to rise, which is great news for savers," added Partington.
Further information on the Easylife range of accounts is available from Bristol & West's branches.
