The Edinburgh Performance Portfolio is now available through Edinburgh Fund Managers (EFM) Classic Portfolio Service. The inclusion was made possible following EFM's acquisition of Portfolio Fund Management in July.
EFM says this presents an opportunity for investors to access one of the best performing funds of funds in the Actively Managed Sector with the added advantages offered through the Classic Portfolio Service. EFM added that along with Edinburgh Managed Growth Portfolio, this fund offers investors access to the best funds, managed by the best fund managers from the leading investment houses.
EFM explained that investors in the Classic Portfolio Service now have the option of investing in Edinburgh Managed Growth in the Balanced Managed Sector or Edinburgh Performance Portfolio in the Active Managed Sector. The Classic Portfolio Service is a discretionary-style global portfolio management service for minimum investments of £25,000 and includes an automatic ISA inclusion facility, periodic withdrawals and phasing, a quarterly newsletter, and an invitation to EFM's annual investment seminar.
The Classic Portfolio Service also offers an Investment Protection Facility which provides free cover to investors under the age of 75 to protect investments.
Edinburgh Performance Portfolio, a global fund of funds classified in the Active Managed Sector, has been in the top quartile over 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 years, outperforming the Active Managed Sector Average by 3.37%, 11.34%, 30.14%, 18.06% and 22.35% respectively over these periods. It is managed by an investment committee, chaired by Paul Talbot, Managing Director of Edinburgh Portfolio.
