The Prudential is planning an extensive marketing and advertising campaign to promote with-profits products and to counter the criticism it has received in the press. The life office claims much of the negative coverage with-profits products have received recently is sensationalist and has no foundation. Prudential has told intermediaries it is planning a major consumer campaign aimed at pointing out the benefits of with-profits relative to unit-linked vehicles.
