Tim Miller, managing director of Portfolio Fund Management, has died in a motor racing accident. Miller, 59, founded fund of funds group Portfolio with Richard Timberlake, in 1993. Paul Talbot, sales director of Portfolio, is to take over as acting managing director until further notice. Miller set up Portfolio after four years at M&G, where he was group marketing director between 1988 and 1992. He began his career in advertising , with one of his accounts including Save & Prosper.
