The latest updates on small business and pensions legislation are among the topics covered by a website launched by parliament's official publisher, the Stationery Office.
Aimed at consumers and business alike, www.ukstate.com is intended to complement recent Government initiatives to promote freedom of information.
The website will also contain a frequently asked questions section on the Budget and pensions, with particular focus on the basic facts and guidelines surrounding stakeholder, according to Julian Fagandini, managing director of Stationery Office Enterprises.
He said: "ukstate.com will increasingly become the natural place for professionals in all areas of business, including finance professionals, to find the most accurate, timely and comprehensive information about officialdom."
A menu on the homepage lists seven main categories including UK Parliament, the House of Commons and the House of Lords. From these, users have access to daily online reports of proceedings in parliament.
