Talking to IFAonline, the Association of British Insurers(ABI) welcomed the Financial Services Authority's proposed polarisation changes while describing the development by the financial regulator as "cautious". Malcolm Tarling, spokesman for the ABI, said the association planned to scrutinise the details when they become available. Tarling said: "We welcome the cautious approach.
