Henderson Investors and Foreign & Colonial are to waive the initial charges for Isa investments into parts of their investment trust ranges, writes Pascal Dowling.
Foreign & Colonial is waiving the £50 initial charge on maxi-Isas for 10 of its investment trusts from the beginning of February. The offer, which runs until 30 June, will provide investors with charge-free access to 10 of the investment companies managed by F&C, including the AAA-rated Foreign & Colonial Income & Growth Investment trust. Isa brochures can be obtained by calling 0800 136 420.
Henderson Global Investors is also offering to waive dealing charges for lump sum investment trust selection Isa investors from mid-February until 31 April. Normal dealing charges of 1% will be waived, leaving only stamp duty of 0.5% to be paid on purchases.
