High net-worth adviser, Park Caledonia, will sponsor of the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) which will take place on 30 October in London.
According to Dean Goldberg, director at Glasgow-based Park Caledonia, the firm is committed to being a major force in financing of British qualifying films using the tax reliefs currently available in the UK.
"We've spent a great deal of time researching exactly what investors and the film industry are looking for," notes Goldberg. "We have developed financial solutions that satisfy the requirements of investors, film-makers and of course the Inland Revenue," he adds.
Park Caledonia is also sponsoring the Raindance Film Festival. Together with the board of Raindance, there are plans to create a new film fund to support British independent film makers in the wake of the collapse of Film Four's own fund.
