Scottish Life is hosting a series of IFA roadshows to increase understanding of stakeholder pensions.
Each of the seminars to be held throughout May will last approximately two hours and touch on a range of issues including the latest stakeholder proposals. They will also look at the future for group personal pensions, opportunities for IFA in the market and IFA marketing support.
Alasdair Buchanan, head of communications at Scottish Life, said: "With increasing clarification of the Government's proposals for stakeholder there is now a need for companies such as ours to help IFAs understand what these developments mean in business terms."
"IFAs have been inundated with detailed technical explanations of how stakeholder will be structured and sold but what they really need to know is how it will affect their business."
The seminars will be held at various locations around the country. For more information, contact 0845 719 2021.
Also in May, and starting this week, Investment Week will be hosting multi-provider pension roadshows focusing on some of the key issues surrounding stakeholder pensions.
The all-day seminars will be held in London, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh.
They feature speakers from Clerical Medical, Perpetual, Scottish Widows, National Mutual, Scottish Amicable, Scottish Equitable, Legal & General and Skandia Life.
