The Sippcentre has introduced a facility allowing intermediaries to rebate the renewal commission from unit trust and Oeic managers and put it into a client's Sipp. The centre's advisory investment option has around 2,000 unit trusts and Oeics available to intermediaries, for which they can charge up to 3% commission. Renewal, which can either be paid to the intermediary or rebated into the client's Sipp, is available at up to 0.5% per year. The rebating feature is designed for intermediaries who prefer to charge an explicit fee to the Sipp, allowing investments to be purchased clean of commission.
