Alliance Trust savings (ATS), the banking and savings subsidiary of The Alliance Trust, has teamed up with Witan Investment Trust to provide and market a simple, low-cost, pension investment product. The Witan Simple Contribution Pension is a simplified version of the Select Pension launched by ATS in 1997. Investors in the pension will be able to subscribe to the simple contribution limit of £3,600 a year. Investment will be in the ordinary shares of Witan Investment Trust, together with a nominal holding in the Alliance Trust.
