Royal & Sun Alliance Investments, recently sold to Friends Ivory & Sime, has announced the departure of David Berry, manager of the UK Equity Income and Growth & Income funds. Berry is due to start work at Martin Currie in Edinburgh in September. FIS' chief investment officer Robert Talbut does not seem too concerned, however, as a statement from the firm says it is on track with its plans to re-construct its fund management teams, including finding a replacement for Berry.
