Cooper steps down as head of retail at Axa

Patrick Cooper, head of retail, has left Axa Investment Managers after a special project he was working on at the group fell through. Virginia Holmes, chief executive of Axa IM, has also left the group after the new venture was scrapped. The group refuse to comment on the nature of the planned venture, which Cooper and Holmes were to head up. Taking over the position of head of retail at Axa IM is Julia Choudhury, who worked alongside Cooper as marketing manager.
