Henderson Global Investors has established a fixed interest desk in its Singapore office. Senior portfolio manager Tim Swadling has transferred from the UK to Singapore where he has taken on specialist responsibility for the Asian and Japanese domestic bond markets. Singapore has been Hendersons' Asian regional headquarters since 1995 and is the key investment and marketing centre for the region. Hendersons currently has 20 people based in Singapore and manages Asian equity assets, direct and indirect property assets and private equity investment from there.
