Gartmore is still looking for a replacement for Paul Grainger, the fixed income manager who left to join Foreign & Colonial last month. Grainger will be director of UK sovereign bonds at F&C, manage institutional money and report to head of sovereign bonds Helen Roberts. At Gartmore, the new manager is likely to take a leading role in the three bond funds that were initially overseen by Grainger. These are the £401m Corporate Bond, £152m High Yield Bond and Jersey-listed, £52m CSF Sterling Bond funds.
