Close Finsbury has replaced Meditor Capital with 2CG Limited as manager of its Continental European Fund, a Dublin-based FSA-recognised Oeic. Close Finsbury marketing director Colin Edge said the decision was not motivated by performance issues. He said Meditor Capital is primarily an institutional manager while 2CG, established by Charles Glasse, formerly head of continental European equities at M&G, and Christopher Garsten, previously with Credit Suisse, had a strong retail focus.
