Wol Kolade has been appointed joint managing director at Friends Ivory & Sime Private Equity and will work alongside David Thorp. Kolade will have particular responsibility for new investments and portfolio performance.
Thorp retains his fund manager roles with the two Baronsmead VCTs and will also focus on client relations and fundraising.
The promotion recognises the key role that Kolade has played in developing the group's investment strategy which centres on research-led knowledge of European growth sectors.
Lisa Coleman has been named head of European credit and single currency products at Schroders. She joins the group from All America Asset Management where she was vice president and senior portfolio manager. Coleman will take over from the Schroder Monthly High Income Fund from Bernard Abrahamsen, who will continue as fund director.

Godding will now be running a hedge fund at Moore Capital Management. According to Mikkel Bates, head of retail at SGAM, the group is in the process of finding a replacement.
