Kenneth Warnock has now officially taken over from Adrian Patterson as manager of the Jupiter UK Exempt fund.
Warnock joined Jupiter in April 2000 from LeggMason Investors, then known as Johnson Fry. At LeggMason, Warnock managed the UK Growth unit trust, the UK Income fund and the Global Growth fund.
As well as the UK Exempt fund, which he took over on 1 January, Warnock manages four specialist UK institutional funds and the Jupiter Enhanced Income Investment Trust.
Warnock said the number of holdings will be reduced to somewhere between 60 and 70. He also intends to increase the portfolio's exposure to large and mid cap holdings.
